A perfect place on the Island

  About Percy’s

A private home all to yourself

Percy Hill is a beautifully restored century-old farmhouse, located in the southeastern region of Prince Edward Island. It is named after it’s last owner, Percy McPherson, whose family has farmed this beautiful piece of land since 1885. In the middle of a very private 500 acre estate, the house is surrounded by the gentle rolling farmland for which the Island is so famous. Built on the top of one of these hills, Percy’s offers one of the most spectacular views on the Island. On a clear day you can see Northumberland Strait and the long coast of Nova Scotia. Make yourself at home and take advantage of the generous interiors: 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 kitchen, dining and living room. The home has all wooden floors and is decorated with Island-made furniture, antiques and original paintings. While having all the charms of Country living, Percy’s has all the conveniences of a luxury home: a modern gourmet kitchen, washer/dryer, Satellite TV, VCR, stereo, phone, fax machine and an extensive bookshelf (the owner did work in publishing). If you play the piano, you will enjoy our Mason & Hamlin upright.

House service will be provided on a weekly basis.

All you have to do is unpack your bags, relax, and soak in the beauty. The property offers many possibilities for hiking or nature walks. In the yard are BBQ, lawn furniture and plenty of space for outside activities (bring your kites!). The small patch of woods next to the house gives cool shade in the heat of summer. Bring your binoculars and explore the view onto Northumberland Straight. Bird Watching is superb. Bald Eagle and Northern Harrier are regulars around Percy’s.

If Golf is on your mind, the new golf course EAGLE'S VIEW GOLF COURSE is only 3 minutes from the house.

Explore the region with its many activities such as golfing, seal-watching, fishing, dining, and of course, don’t forget the beaches . . . the next beach is less than 15 minutes away.

If you want to get around without a motor, we have bikes for adults and kids.
